At the risk of sounding like a horribly mean Mom...I have to ask. Do you ALWAYS laugh at your kids' jokes? I mean, yeah, it's adorable. My 5-year-old says some pretty funny things but her jokes...well, they're just not funny. I'll laugh the first 5 times, then switch over to my fake laugh, then I just can't do it anymore. Can anyone relate here? Or just me, the mean Mom?
I think it's hilarious when the kids tell jokes to each other and laugh like crazy - then I laugh with them of course! But, sorry, I love my kids more than anyone on Earth but I can't laugh every time. I'm just being real with them - my authentic self - doesn't that count for something? :)
